Source Facts

The Spring site represents what is believed to be the first “settled area” in the town of Sweden. The Spring(s) are an all-natural resource located on a 50 acre wooded lot, which is surrounded by hundreds of acres of undeveloped forest!

The water originates on the Buker lot and remains on the lot until emptying into Trull Brook while the nearest Bulk Station is located 1.5 miles from the source in the Town of Sweden.

There are a total of five natural springs on the property. The two most productive springs have been developed and have a springhouse on them.

The Spring flows constantly – 365 days a year.

Water Volume of the Spring was measured on July 19, 2005 by Woodard & Curran Eng of Portland. The Report indicates the Spring house source is producing approx. 100 gpm on average. Volume has the potential to fluctuate to approx. 200 gpm relative to seasonality. (Stratex April, 22 1998).
